Graduate Admissions
Master's Courses / Doctoral Courses
University of Toyama offers special admission examinations for non-Japanese
graduate students (except some of Graduate School). They are announced
in June to October and held in June to February the following year
at University of Toyama. When occasion demands, University of Toyama
offers secondary registration and holds the examination in February.
Please request for application materials to the office of each graduate
school. Because there are some differences in the admission system
of each school, please refer to application materials sent by each
school.

Graduate Non-Degree Program Course (Non-degree Student)
Applicants must have the following requirements for the courses. Please request for application materials to the registrar of each faculty if you meet the requirements.
- Kenkyusei (non-degree student) for faculty
The applicant is required to have a degree of Bachelor or the same academic ability as Bachelor (or more). - Kenkyusei (non-degree student) for Graduate School
The applicant is required to have a degree of Master or the same academic ability as Master (or more).
※We call students belonging to these faculties or Graduate School Divisions "degree students". In addition to this, the categories of research students and auditors are offered for those intending to study. Also, we call those students "non-degree students".
